Iphone 6 leaked

http://news.yahoo.com/iphone-6-photo-leak-shows-fully-assembled-housing-130521978.html The good news is that you’ll soon finally be able to get your hands on an iPhone with a significantly larger display, as Apple has sent out invitations to its big iPhone 6 event set to take place on September 9th. FROM EARLIER: Will the iPhone 6 really be as hideously ugly as we’ve seen in leaks?

Security about your devices you should know

So many times we use are cell phones for ordering items online, doing are banking, paying are bills that we forget that when we log off our phone or devices that the information we just typed is still floating around in memory on are devices. A little knowledge and some protection go a long way in keeping everything about us safe from prying eyes. This is an article from last months issue of Nuts and Volts magazine that gives you a little information on how to protect yourself. Also on the page near the bottom is a site you can visit to check up on someones background if you feel the need too know if they have done anything wrong and best yet, its free :)
Have a great week everyone, I will be posting more things soon as im caught up on some projects. I will share with you the projects I have completed and how to build them or buy them from us if you want too. Been working on a security system for my house, shed perimeter of my house and garage. Once its complete and our software is complete you will be able to turn on and off lights, heating and cooling devices and monitor your home with cameras from your smart phone, laptop or tablet and best yet, its free, no monitoring fees per month, ever :)

This weeks question was presented to us here at the lab by a customer who bought TITANFALL and has an older PC. The question was "My computer is slow and I cant play this game very well with the lag. The hard drive is running all the time and game is slow. What do I need to upgrade my computer with to play this game?". We looked up the specs and here is a great page to see what you need. Sometimes it will just take another stick of RAM or maybe a new graphics card. Best way to really know what you need if you dont have any idea is to contact a computer expert or a good gamer :) What we have people do is run DXDIAG and send us the text file for us to see what you have in your computer and we can guide you from there on what you need. Here is a video of the new game TITANFALL.

Elder Scrolls Online and your computer review

Well its been a week since the Beta ended for the Elder Scrolls Online, I had a pass to play so I did. I also promised you a review of the game after it was over and here it is.

THE REVIEW
I was very impressed with the graphic detail of the game when compared to other games I play like World Of Warcraft. The world looks beautiful!! The lore in the game holds true to other games in it's series like Skyrim but this game takes place 1000 years before Skyrim begins. You can play with your friends and use voice chat but we didnt use voice chat to play because there was another issue. We couldn't find each other to add to a group so all my friends were in the game but we couldn't figure out how to find each other. Also my player kept falling through the map, inside walls and stairs and would get stuck. This was not fun!!!!! They have alot of bugs to fix. Guilds are active in the game, I joined the mages guild and warriors guild. You can make your player anything you want with any armor or weapon you want, this is good!!! This holds up to the games true origins. I really enjoyed the game all in all, plenty of quests and things to kill.
I currently however have an active subscription to World Of Warcraft at $15/month (Little cheaper because I buy 6 months at a time). Elder Scrolls Online will be charging the same price for their game. This is a problem for us. Do we play 2 games and keep paying or do we pick one? We here at Umbram Computer Services have not made that choice yet. World of Warcraft is aging, its an old game and its same ole same ole when we play, its getting boring. Anyway stay tuned for more about Elder Scrolls as the game approaches its launch.
COMPUTER HARDWARE TO PLAY THE GAME
We played the Elder Scrolls Online on the oldest system we have which is a Goliath 1 series and had no lag or problem with graphics, actually no problem at all, so older systems can play this game.  The system specs of this system we used are as follows:

  1. AMD Black Edition quad core CPU
  2. ASUS Motherboard with a bus speed of 2600 MHZ
  3. NVIDEA Graphics card 8800GTX
  4. Used on board sound and also Creative Sound Blaster X-FI sound card (No Difference in performance)
  5. 4 GB DDR2 RAM

We will be play testing Elder Scrolls Online all weekend and give you a full review in our blog as soon as the weekend is over. We are excited for this opportunity and look forward to sharing it with you as soon as the weekend is over.

Getting your computer repaired can be a tedious pain in the rump. Finding a service to repair your system at the right price can also be a headache. We all want the best price for anything we have to pay for along with quality. Being a small computer repair service business myself I strive to bend the world to give them the best price and the highest quality in a decent amount of time. Lets face it, whatever has happened to our computer or device has caused us trauma and we don't have time to wait to get it back if it takes days or weeks for the repair to be completed. It does take many hours and sometimes days of labor to complete a job and sometimes we lower the price on the repair to make the customer happy. We here at Umbram Computer Services have done this allot but at times we cant make the bottom line to keep our company open if we keep giving away lets say a job that took us 16 hours to complete and only charging the customer $50. There is a fine line on delivering quality that the customer deserves and giving a price to afford. I found a great discussion thread that many small computer business owners trouble over this as well. The best point I read was about someone taking their car to the automotive shop to have it repaired and asking the service person to show them how to repair the car themselves so they wont need to bring it in for a costly repair next time and the customer will repair it themselves. We all are good at something or many things, but without being trained in the automotive field you could really damage your vehicle or worse, cause serious hard to yourself resulting in injury or death . We all love to save money, I know I do but sometimes we have to pay what the price is to get a job done. Some shops may give you a discount but the price is the price that has been broken down in hours worked and parts needed. If the dealer did the work for free or give a part for free, that place will no longer be in business anymore. I found this discussion thread to be one of the best reads I have came across in a long time which explains in detail. Here is the link

IP WEBCAMS AND WHY YOU NEED ONE

Its been asked to me over and over again why someone would want to upgrade their home or business security system to something more modern like an IP WEBCAM. Often times we like to keep what we paid for and stretch our dollars to the limit to get every cent we put put into a device for as long as we can. Their is nothing wrong with someones VCR or DVR security system, it may be hard in today's ever changing world of software and technology to keep up with monitoring those systems. Out dated electronics most of the time die with software upgrades that don't support them. The ability to monitor your system from a remote location is impossible from your cell phone, smart pad or laptop.
I have a solution that is cheap and the software in most cases are free!!! The solution is called IP WEBCAM!!!!!! You can buy these cams online for under a $100 and setup is so easy for your home or business!! We offer these solutions for your home or business and will be happy to come to your location to set these up for you. However you can do it too yourself too if you choose too. My home and business is running 100% on these devices, it records events to my server, I can view cameras anytime from my phone and receive emails and texts to my phone anytime something triggers the camera. To close this post I just want to say don't feel trapped that you need a service like Comcast or any other monitoring service to secure your home or business and pay a monthly fee, with these IP CAMS there is no fees and its free!!!
